WatchESPN: Watching NASCAR on ESPN online

WatchESPN: Watching NASCAR on ESPN online

WatchESPN, which is now a part of, is a streaming service of live events and replays that is provided by ESPN. For most of the content (from channels other than ESPN3) you can only watch online if you are a cable subscriber from a few companies. For ESPN3 content, it’s open to people who get their internet from an affiliate company (it’s a long list of companies). WatchESPN can only be accessed online and like the name implies, lets you watch ESPN online. Users can enjoy live streaming games as well as replays of sporting events from across the country and  around the world. Users of WatchESPN can enjoy their favorite sporting events on their mobile devices while they are out and about so they can enjoy sports on the go. Those who choose to register with their cable service provider can enjoy access to all ESPN networks that they have a subscription to on their mobile devices. Multiple live events can be streamed at the same time with the ESPN3 service.

What We Liked

  • Stream More Than One Game- Users of ESPN3 do not have to worry about missing a single second of sporting action. Up to four games can be streamed at the exact same time.
  • Wide Screen Or Full Screen Options- Users can enjoy any and all of their games in either wide screen format or full screen format.
  • Chat 140- Users can chat live during a game with other fans.
  • Unbelievable Amount Of Content- Whether you want to watch soccer in Italy, basketball in the US, or rugby in the UK, ESPN3 has got you covered. They provide access to sporting events from your local area as well as around the globe.

What We Didn’t Like
  • Restricted To One ISP Address- Users cannot access their ESPN3 content if they are not using their originating ISP address.  Users cannot access their ESPN3 content from an ISP that does not pay fees to ESPN.
  • Small Lag- There is a small lag between live games on ESPN3 and live games you will find on your local television networks.

good article but I think you should mention the differences in the App. While anyone with internet can watch anything on ESPN3 the other networks are not available unless you have a TV subscription with one of the major cable providers.
